The Republic of Dog provides it's group training classes at the Pet Supplies Plus in Plano, TX.
Group training classes offer you and your canine companion an ideal setting for starting or continuing your dog training needs. A major advantage to group training is that it provides a safe and supervised environment for socialization and exposing your dog to new situations (this is especially critical with young puppies). In class we cover proper methods of socialization for dogs of all ages.
Another advantage you will benefit from is our schedule of classes. Our classes are offered several times a week at convenient times to best fit your scheduling needs. Please see our Schedule of Classes for upcoming dates and times.
In our beginner obedience class, we start with the basics of how dogs learn and how we, as humans, can begin to understand them. Along with basic obedience skills, common everyday behavior issues like jumping and greetings are addressed. At The Republic of Dog we feel that a proper and healthy diet are an important part of your dog's life. We help you understand what to look for in dog foods and what to avoid so that your dog can live a long and healthy life*. This class meets for 5 weeks (1 hour 15 minutes each week).
Please have dogs on a 6 foot leash. "Flexi-Leads" or "Extendable" leashes are highly discouraged during training.
